I checked all the wires into the seat module and everything looks secure. So I don't really think the heater element is the problem. There almost seems like there is a disconnect between the I drive control and the seat. When I set the heat to full bottom the back still gets really hot. Spot on to a degree if the battery is showing exhaustion signs to conserve power for priority items it will shut power down for secondary items like heated mirrors/rear window even if you have the option when unlocking your car day time running lights that too could well be disabled to conserve power. __________________.
Hi, I have a E90 BMW 320D on a 57 plate and I am having problems with the heater motor. The controls do not increase or decrease the speed of the motor and the controls will not turn the motor off either. The display on the controls do function ok tho.. ie..everything lights up correctly as if everything is working ok.

As Mike above mentioned, I would bet on one of two things: air pockets still remain in the coolant system-park the car on a steep slope with the nose higher than the rear and re-bleed the system several times. Then, I can bet you will need to add fluid as well.
Blowing warm air, Not hot air. 06 BMW 325i, My car will not blow hot air, Only slightly warm. When it is cold I get no heat. Changed water pump and 3 thermostats, It did not help. I'm told the engine do not reach the correct temperature and the fan comes on to lower the temp even more. The experts are now telling me it could be the DME computer.
