The key cylinder must be removed. first before removing ignition switch. (1) Remove key cylinder. Refer to previous steps. (2) Remove lower steering column cover screws and remove cover (Fig. 19). Just been out in the Jeep today, and the problem has returned, this time the steering wheel is jamming at 1 full turn of the wheel to the left, yesterday it was jamming at 1 + 1/5th of a turn to the left, last week it was at 1 full turn, so it seems to be jamming in 2 different places.Compatibility: The Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface is universal and can be used in most vehicles with factory steering wheel controls. If it sounds like it it in the steering column then it is possibly either a bushing in the shaft or possibly the clock spring, which is the interface between the steering wheel and the column (and rest of the wire harness) for the steering wheel controls, horn, and airbag. cEWt. 854 293 890 107 811 433 883 893
