Your 2.2 has a bore of 86mm and stroke of 94.6mm, just changing the pistons to something like 90mm pistons would get you to 2400cc.
SillyspeedJTS 144 bhp, 188 Nm on used engine. So pretty much as expected, I'd say. Having had a 166 and a Spider, both 2.0 TS. Currently having a 156 Ti, 1.6. Along with the JTS GT. I find the JTS to be the one with more get up and go, especially at the lower rev range.
