I was Ok with the OEM BMW saddle but I feel more secure off road and when I have to stop on uneven terrain. First, as mentionned by Krons, make sure the saddle is at it's lower setting. The low standard seat height of just 30.9 inches and the short inner-leg length ensure that almost every motorcyclist will instantly feel at ease on the G 310 R. Meanwhile, shorter or taller riders can draw on the range of BMW Motorrad optional accessories to select a lower or higher seat.
