I solved my Bluetooth issues by holding down Option and Shift keys while clicking on the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar. You will then see extra menu options and the 2 I clicked on were reset bluetooth module and factory reset all Bluetooth apple devices. Solved everything for me. southerndoc.
